We are so proud of Owen!!
So, we just returned from vacation. We'll post those pics tomorrow, hopefully. For today, it's all about Owen's graduation. Here he is walking into the chapel with his fellow graduates. I am always amazed at the pagentry that occurs with graduations. No matter where you go, special days like these will always be steeped in tradition. For someone who isn't always a big fan of "tradition", this day was an exception.

It was great getting the opportunity to watch the faces of the faculty that have opened their lives up to our family over the past 3 years. These men and women have walked with us through the biggest natural disaster (Hurricane Katrina-August 2005) in U.S. history. We can never fully express our gratitude for their diligence and perserverance in such difficult times. For opening their lives to us, we say, "Thank you!"

THE DIPLOMA!! Don't worry- we did check to make sure it was inside the case. He received a Master of Divinity in Christian Thought. The degree is a combination of philosophy, theology, and history- almost apologetics, if you will.
