These are homemade wall letters that Amanda made; they definitely show off how thrifty and creative she is!
Here is the all-important changing table (no, it did not come with the little girl, although she does fit pretty well in it, and it's a good thing b/c she poops way more than we ever thought)
Brenda (Amanda's mom) found this chair at a thrift store and restored it for us (the black pad on top of the chair is our gift to ourselves- a Shiatsu massage pad; the purple pad is on the footstool is our "Boppy" which assists in the breast-feeding process)
Here is more of Amanda's creativity at work (also, if you'll notice the purple lamp- we stole a good idea from someone here at seminary who advised we get a blue lightbulb so the light's not so bright at night when you go in to feed and change diapers- and it works pretty well so far)
Please continue to pray for us; we are at home and trying to get settled in (our midwife was really great and let us come home at 24 hours, instead of 48 hours). The feeding process is slow and steady right now and Amanda is trying hard to persevere but we would appreciate your prayers. Also, as would be expected (and as most of you understand all too well yourselves) we are VERY TIRED, so continue to pray that we will have strength, courage, and wisdom during the days, weeks, months, and years to come.
